FOUNDER

Glenn left his career as an educator and school principal to start a Ford dealership in Bradford in 1946. Ford Motor Company encouraged him to move the franchise to Princeton, which he did in 1964. He served as president of the Illinois New Car Dealers Assoc. along with many other roles at Ford and in the community. He was honored for his contributions to the local area by serving as the Homestead Parade Grand Marshal in 2004.

He retired in the 1980's but still visits the showroom often. He lives in Princeton and drives a Lincoln Town Car.

TIM BROWNING
President

My grandfather started Browning Ford in 1945 in Bradford and moved it to Princeton in 1964. My father, Don took over in 1977 and added the Chrysler line in the 1980's. I inherited the dealerships from him in 2003. I am married with 3 children, 20, 17 and 14.

Finance Manager
I have lived in Princeton since I was 1 year old and have worked at Browning Ford/Chrysler for 13 years. I have 2 daughters 13 & 10 and one dog, Bruno the whirling durbish. My dealership credentials include: Certified Ford sales Consultant, Ford Financial Services Manager, Master Certified, Chrysler Gold Certified Business Manager Association.

I grew up in Hooppole, IL and continue to reside there.  I have been employed at Browning for over 12 years.

Certified Service Manager with both Ford and Chrysler.

My wife and I are the proud parents of 3 daughters, ages 13, 8 and 7. They keep us busy and motivated.

I'd say that everything Browning is selling currently is awesome! Can't beat the Mustang, but for a family I would tone it down and say the new Explorer is tops.

What do I do in my spare time? What spare time? I volunteer much of my time as a coach for girls basketball and softball Annawan area Youth teams. I am very involved in my church and community. During the school year I drive bus for Annawan School's sporting activities.

My wife Cindy and I have one son, Cody, 4 cats and 1 dog.

I was born and raised in Princeton, a graduate of Princeton high school. I've been active in many community projects, most recently the finance chair with the "board parents" skate park committee.

I started with Browning Ford in March of 1982. I am Ford master certified and a multiple winner of Ford's 300/500 Legends and Leaders recognition program.

Naming my favorite Ford product is like a father of six naming his favorite child - I love them all!!

Sales and Leasing

I am from the Sheffield/Buda area. Been with Browning for 8 years. Certified e2 Employee Excellence Level 3.

I have been married for 30 years. Have twin daughters, Fallon and Amanda, daughter Carly and two grandkids 2 and 3 years old.

I'd say of what Browning is selling currently, the Ecoboost V-6 trucks S-Crew, the Taurus, Fusion, Focus and Explorer are best.

In my spare time, anybody who knows me knows I like to fish! And of course, spend time with my grandkids and family.

Office Assistant 
I am from Princeton and my husband Gary is from Dixon.  Because of my husband's job as a Manufacturing Engineer we have lived in Quebec, Minnesota, Pennsylvania and Iowa.  We like to take day trips to find and explore new shops and restaurants.
I have worked at Browning since June of 2009 and when asked what Browning product is the best I'd have to say there are several I like, but it would be difficult to just pick one.  You should come on out to see for yourself what your "Hometown" dealership has to offer!

Parts Sales
I am from Princeton and have two daughters, Vanessa and Sydney who are my pride and joy.  I play competitive bags, and love spending time with my daughters when I'm not working.
I have been with Browning for almost 2 years, am a Level 2 Chrysler Tech and have begun my Ford and Chrysler parts certifications.  Personally, I would buy a Chrysler 300 C if I could pick just one, but we have many fine cars, trucks and vans to choose from.  People come to Browning because of me!  Seriously though, we have good poeple, doing great things here at Browning, and if you haven't been in for awhile, you should definitely come see us!!

Detail Specialist
I grew up in Manlius. I now live in Princeton with my wife Janice. We have one son and daughter-in-law. Michael and Rebecca live in Indiana. I was detailing cars for Glen Browning when I was 16 years old! So I have many years of experience detailing cars. The best part of my job is the end result; the reconditioned new look.
